The Knockoff Challenge

Happy Monday!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  First of all I need to announce the winner of the postcard giveaway from UPrinting.  Using random.org comment #21 was chosen.  Congrats Deb (dubbage42)!  E-mail me at Carmelraye@yahoo.com to claim your free postcards!

You all already know that I was chosen to be a contestant in the Crafting with the Stars competition over at Sew Dang Cute Crafts.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with this competition it is a creative competition in which 12 contestants are paired with 12 blogland “stars” to duke it out in a 4-week themed competition, where you (the readers) vote for the winners!

Today is the day to vote for the first challenge which was the knockoff challenge.  I can’t tell you which project was mine until the winners of the challenge are announced, so head on over there to cast your vote for your three favorite knockoff projects.  Hopefully, with any luck, you’ll choose mine!  ðŸ˜‰  I’ll let you know on Wednesday which project I entered, and I’ll share all the deets!

One thing I can tell you is that my crafting star is completely awesome!  Beth from Home Stories A to Z is my crafting star, and she has been so, so great.  She’s ridiculously talented in the home design department, as evidenced by this

her gorgeous stenciled entry foyer!  She’s also quite the domestic diva in the kitchen

You can find the tutorial here
and has great fashion sense too!  Honestly if she weren’t so dang nice you might want to hate her!  ðŸ˜‰  She has been so sweet and encouraging!  I’m truly grateful I was able to choose her to be my star.
So don’t forget to head over there and vote for your favorite projects!  See if you can guess which one is mine.  Speaking of knockoffs, have you knocked off anything lately?  Leave a link if you have so we can all be inspired to be good copy cats!
Oh, and I’m saying cheers to the week because my weekend was cray-zay!  How was yours?
