First of all, you peeps are amazing! Thank you so much for all your input on the goddess. She’s a keeper for sure, and I’ll let you know where she settles in over here.
So, in case you didn’t already know, I’m a lover of all things creative. It’s kind of funny that I love to decorate because I wasn’t the girl who loved to decorate her room as a kid. Quite the reverse actually. I was the girl that said things like, “Why do I have to make my bed if I’m going to mess it up later tonight?” I also was the girl who would rather get my teeth cleaned than go antiquing with my mom. I did not see the beauty that I now see in old things. It’s funny how you change as you get older, and how much you love to fluff your space when you’re the one paying for said space. On the reverse of that, one thing that I have always loved is dance. I started dancing – tap, ballet, and jazz – at a fairly young age. I gave it up when my parents got divorced. Dancing is a huge time commitment, like anything that you want to really study. I don’t regret it as I probably would have put it aside as I got older anyway. Though just because you stop taking classes doesn’t mean you stop loving the subject.
I had to share this video with you. You may have already seen it before. I think it’s a beautiful form of expression. Dance has really evolved over the years as we have also seen with decor. Going to the ballet is still pretty exciting to me, but deep down I have a feeling that if I was still dancing in places other than mine and my friend’s kitchens it would probably be less structured and much more of a freestyle. I’m pretty darn sure that even if I had kept taking class I never would have been this good! This guy is amazing! Creative expression is literally oozing from his body. I can’t get enough – enjoy!
It is amazing what the human body is capable of…this guy is beyond talented! Thanks for sharing.
