Halloween Recap

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.  We had a blast!  In fact, for the first time in years the hubs and I actually wore costumes.  I decided last minute to wear one of my grandmother’s kimono coats so I ran out to the Halloween store to find something for my hub to wear.  When I ran across this Scottish costume I decided it would be perfect as then we would both represent our ancestors.

I must really like you all to post this picture here!  ðŸ˜‰

My boy was Bumblebee the Transformer.  He was definitely more than meets the eye.  ðŸ˜‰

My little girlfriend was Dorothy.  She was so excited this year and could hardly stand still long enough for me to snap a decent photo.  Here she is with her cute kitty cat friend.
The majority of the night looked like this.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.  That picture is what I’ll remember most about Halloween 2011.  These moments are so special.  I just love soaking them in, and no that’s not just the sugar talking.   😉

How was your night?  Lots of treats?  Any tricks?

  • OH you look so cute! It was a bittersweet night for me as our younger two went alone. They just asked to be dropped off to meet up with friends and had a set time to have us pick them up at a friend's house. Yep a group of teenagers with middle school siblings… (and we live in the country so no one comes to our house.)

I am glad to see you guys such a wonderful time! Cherish each moment you have because they grow up so quickly…

  • We live in downtown Lex and only had one trick or treater. Boy, it sure was different than living in the burbs. The good thing is I bought tons of my favorite candies, so, now I get to eat them.

  • All I remember from Halloween 2011 is a flash of blue, yellow and black sprinting from house to house and moms shouting "SLOW DOWN!"

    Fun times indeed.
