A few weeks ago I blogged about a new website created by Glidden Paint called My Colortopia.
It’s a great site where you can find lots of advice on everything from choosing the right paint color to getting it on the wall. One of my favorite aspects of the site is a tool called My Image Inspiration.
This tool lets you upload a picture of anything – a swatch of fabric, a great piece of art, a random vacation pic – and it will give you a selection of color palettes to browse through.
If there’s a specific color you are looking for in a picture you can narrow in on a smaller area when using the selection tool.
I love this tool! It’s a great way to take your inspiration piece and create a color palette for your room. Take a minute and upload a picture of your favorite fabric or piece of art, and see what paint colors are recommended. Let me know what you think about the results.
