I hope you all had a great Halloween. For the first time ever we did the family costume thing. Most people had no idea who were. We dressed as characters from one of our favorite cartoons – Adventure Time. It’s a totally random cartoon about nonsensical nonsense – seriously not one episode has ever really made any sense – but I think that’s why we all love it. We Phillips’ have a thing for silly, random sarcastic humor. Or at least my hub and I do, and it apparently, is something we’ve passed down to our kids.
You gotta love a man that isn’t afraid to have some fun!
And now for the highlights!
I had the best time going through all of your Pinterest Challenge projects! Thanks so much for playing along, taking the challenge, and linking up to the partay! I pinned quite a few of your projects. It’s a vicious cycle I tell ya, but that’s what makes it fun right?! The circle of pinspiration truly is never ending. Cheesy but true.
Here are few highlights to get your pinning fingers clicking, but please if you want to pin any of these projects – pin them from the creators page. We want to give credit where credit is due.
Kicking it off, I know Halloween was yesterday, but seriously how awesome is Cassie’s (Primitive and Proper) sign?!
Laura Beth from A Step in the Journey made over a yard sale trunk. Those of you that know me, know I’m a huge fan of any and all things black and white, but add some gold to that and my head pops off! You have to see the before, and you have to find out how much she paid! Amazing!
Jackie at Teal and Lime embellished some curtains! And for those of us that break out into hives at the thought of using a sewing machine, we can breath easy because she used fabric glue! Go check it out!
Elena at ‘A Casarella made her mom a birthday cake. I am in LOVE with these raspberry almond flowers! Cute and healthy – that makes the cake calories melt away right?
Jennifer from Dimples and Tangles made layered silhouettes. I love the way the stripes give them a more modern look.
And last but not least, how much fun is this map art from Hello Happy Face?! I think this is my favorite version of all of the ones I’ve seen!
Thanks again to all of you who took the challenge and linked up your project! I’m in awe of your creativity!
And one more time just for kicks-
