I really love, like seriously LOVE Thanksgiving.
I always have.
I love history, so any holiday that’s rooted in deep traditions is one that pulls at my heart strings.
The whole feeling of gratitude that surrounds this holiday is the cherry on top for me.
Thankfulness is a gift you choose for yourself. No one can take it away.
As part of our own family tradition we made a thankful tree using chalkboard tags (Willow House). I asked my kiddos to really think about what they’re thankful for – and I wrote down exactly what they said – friends, family, our doggies, our home, legos and dolls. They have a lot to be thankful for.
It’s just over a week away. Can you even believe it?! Crazy right?! Do you decorate for Thanksgiving or do you jump straight from Halloween to Christmas?
it looks perfect- i like the natural simplicity! 🙂
