Red + Leopard = Love (Goodwill Chair Makeover)

This chair makeover cost less than a cup of Starbucks coffee – for realz.

I bought this old metal chair at Goodwill and gave it a makeover with supplies I already had on hand.
1. Red spray paint  2. Leopard fabric scrap  3. Gold duct tape (Duck Brand)

I was feeling a little lazy, so I used duct tape instead of glue.  It worked like a charm but probably only because the seat of this chair is screwed on so tight.  Ready for a before and after?

It went from plain jane to straight up sassy!  All for $2.75!  Holla!

I gave it a little roughing up – just because.

  • Just came across this post. I'm making over this exact same chair but in a set of 4. Were your seats a pain in the butt to take apart too? I practically had to pry them apart to get the gross vinyl off.

  • This. Is. AWESOME! I love it so much… I am always afraid I won't have the "perfect spot" for a thrifted piece of furniture, but this chair is small, yet makes such a beautiful, bold statement. Nice work!
