I’m not big on spring decorating this year. I think it’s partly because the weather in Kentucky still feels like winter. Maybe if I springify the mantel just a little the weather will warm up a bit?

a white ceramic bird and some dried greenery have helped to brighten these cold days.
Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make our home a haven. Here’s to hoping warm temperatures are on their way.

I am thinking I probably live about 4 hours north of you in West Virginia. My husband( who is a meteorologist says a snow storm might be coming on Sunday. Can you believe that! I wonder if you will get it too?

I haven't decorated my mantel yet. I took down my winter stuff, but I've left it bare because it's too cold to be "spring" now.

Our weather isn't very spring-like here either, but my tulip bulbs that I potted in January are starting to bloom. At least we can enjoy it indoors! Have a great weekend!
