I can hardly believe it’s August already, but I am so excited for all the fun that August promises to bring. Today I’m heading out to Atlanta for the Haven conference. I actually board my flight in a few short hours, and I can’t wait to see a bunch of my favorite bloggers!
July flew by so fast I feel like I didn’t get a chance to do much of anything, but that is exactly what summers are for right? Doing nothing and enjoying every minute. When I looked back over the month I was surprised to see that I did actually get a few things done. Here’s a little recap in case you missed anything.
I shared our big plans to make one of our house dreams a reality and compared/contrasted spray paint to rub ‘n buff.
I had so much fun hosting an impromptu gold party, and was fully inspired by your gold-tastic projects!
I gave an old chest of drawers a Ralph Lauren inspired makeover, and made a little vacation keepsake for our mantel using instagram photo stickers.
Last but not least I shared my favorite new kitchen gadget, showed off my new mirrored console table and whipped the kids bathroom cabinet into shape.
Not too bad for a lazy summer month right? Of course I have laundry piled up to the sky but hey, something’s gotta give right? I mean who needs clean socks in the summer when you live in flip flops?
I’m looking forward to a fun-filled August with lots of great giveaways coming up for you awesome people…….and I’ll be revealing my secret weapon this month too! Woohoo! I know you’ve been dying to know how I’ve been making all of those cool labels, and I’m beyond excited to finally be able to spill the beans!
