Well, wow, we’re already one week into November! October flew right by. I hope to take some time over the last few months of the year to truly appreciate the blessings in my life. Writing this little blog makes me realize how fast time goes by and how important it is to stop and savor life’s special everyday moments.
I love these monthly highlights as it forces me to take a moment away from looking at my to do list and be thankful for what’s already been done.
The front door got a fall makeover. October was officially declared the month of decrapification (by me), and the mantel got festive for Halloween.
I showed you my new leopard sheets and talked about my mission to get more sleep. I partnered with a bunch of much cooler bloggers than myself in a fall home tour. And I patted myself on the back for graduating to a power saw and getting a bit more work done in the ongoing kids bathroom makeover.
And last but definitely not least the month ended on a definite high! The hubs and I celebrated 13 years of marriage, and I shared the 13 things I’ve learned thus far. I got my horse love on during Knoctoberfest! And in major blog news, the hubs actually helped with a diy project without moaning and groaning……….he helped me compose a list of 35 of our favorite wines under $35 to celebrate my 35th birthday! Woot! I’ll cheers to that!
November is sure to be great. My dad also visited last month, so you know we did some projects together! Can’t wait to show you!
