2 second headband organizer

2 second headband organizer
This is literally the easiest, quickest, simplest, yet completely functional, dare I call it a “project” in Our Fifth House history.  I’m not even kidding when I say it took all of two seconds!   I grabbed a piece of grosgrain ribbon and cut one command strip into 4 small pieces.  Then I used the command strip pieces to attach the ribbon to the back of the kids bathroom cabinet door and used a couple command strip pieces on the inside ends.  Those pieces basically act like velcro allowing me to open and close the ribbon which is perfect for the types of headbands that are elastic all the way around.

We keep some of my girl’s headbands in a plastic bin under the sink, so just having this one ribbon organizer for extras and her elastic headbands works perfectly.  But I can easily fit a few more of these ribbon organizers on the back of the cabinet door in case we need more headband storage.  Surely I can spare a few more seconds if I need to right?!
In case you missed it, yesterday I shared how I’m corralling all of her hair bows.  Organization makes me all kinds of happy.  Check out he organization tab up above for more organizing ideas!
