Today I’m back to share a tour of my Christmas Living Room as a part of Marty’s annual Christmas Home Tour! Â If you missed it, yesterday I shared our entry foyer, kitchen and dining room.

And today there are 30 of us home bloggers participating in this festive holiday home tour! Â SO get yourself a large cup of eggnog (or whatever your favorite seasonal drink is) and get cozy! Â Happy holiday scrolling friends!
If you’re hopping over from the last stop over at Dimples and Tangles, welcome! Â Isn’t Jennifer’s colorful Christmas decor just so fun and festive?!
I’m Carmel, and as my regular readers already know, red is my favorite color all year long! Â So I’m especially drawn to traditional Christmas colors.
Blush Pink and Red for the Christmas Win!
Although, I love giving old traditions a new twist. Â So this year I decorated our tree with a medley of blush pink, red and holiday metallics. Â And this just might be my favorite tree I’ve ever done. Â I really, really love this romantic color scheme!
These are all ornaments I’ve collected over the years, but I think I love the soft pink satin bows the best.

To keep the look from feeling too feminine I opted to use a big graphic faux fur throw blanket as a tree skirt.

Regulars here know that I moved our coffee table out to the screen porch this summer and never moved it back inside. While  I have yet to find the “one”, I actually kind of love this open, somewhat bare bones look.  It definitely feels cozier for the pups.  😉

Because our tree is fake or faux (if we’re being fancy) I opt for fresh green wreaths and lots of greenery in vases to bring in that lovely Christmas pine aroma to my home. Â I also put all the Christmas cards we receive each year on a binder ring at the end of the season. Â It’s always so much fun to pull these out and look through them.

This year’s mantle is really simple with just a small collection of bottle brush trees. Â I’m still so in love with last year’s Christmas gift. Â This TV makes decorating for any holiday so fun! Â I just love how easy it is to change up the art whenever I want!

Ombre bottle brush trees….be still my heart!

I find that the things that mean the most around the holidays are always the things that have that least monetary value, like the paper Santa collage my husband made in elementary school. Â It means the world to me! Â And I smile every year when I pull it out and find a place for it to shine.
That my mother-in-law gave it to me……that my husband made it when he was just a boy…. all of it just fills my heart so much.

Thanks for touring my simple holiday living room today! Â To see more of my Christmas decor, come take a look at the three other Christmas trees we’re rocking this year, and see how we decided to decorate our exterior front porches this year too.
And now, head on over to Follow the Yellow Brick Road to continue this fun, holiday home tour. And if you’re just now joining in the fun, be sure to follow this Christmas home tour from the beginning!

Oh, the ombre trees are fabulous. I also adore the idea of placing each year’s cards in a binder! So happy to be on this tour with you,
