Method
- In a mixing bowl beat the butter and sugars.
- Add eggs, water and vanilla; beat until blended.
- In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
- Shape the dough into a ball. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly flour your work surface and rolling pin. Roll out dough and cut into shapes.
- Bake for 7 to 8 minutes. Let cool before icing.
