My baby girl turned five on Sunday! We had a party with her friends on Saturday at Bounce U, a huge indoor inflatable playground. All of the kids, including the birthday girl, had a great time.

To celebrate her actual birthday, Sunday morning I put together a special meal consisting of her favorite breakfast food – doughnuts!
I used some pink icing to decorate them. I also used some red food coloring to make pink milk (the girl doesn’t like strawberry flavored milk but she loves all things pink!).
To quote the birthday girl, “Everything is better in pink!”
This red plate belonged to me when I was a kid. I ate many a special meal on this very plate, and I love love love seeing my children use it now! I swear it makes your food taste better! 🙂 Maybe this is when my love affair with the color red started?!
I hope all her wishes come true! She, her brother, and their daddy have made all of mine a reality!
What did you all do this weekend? I’m obviously coming down from a sugar high and will clearly be running some extra miles this week……maybe. 🙂
Aw Happy Birthday to the BDay girl! Looks like a lot of fun and that cake looks delicious! I have never seen a cake with ice cream cones on top 🙂
