If You Give A Mom A Homes.Com Entertainment Guide……….

Homes.com entertainment guide

she’ll want a nice cup of coffee to with it.

She’ll be inspired flipping through the pages as her mind starts filling up with all sorts of ideas.

When she gets to the “party themes” section……….
Homes.com entertainment guide
her little blue-eyed girlfriend will cozy up to her, all of a sudden very interested in this entertainment guide as well.
Those blue eyes will light up as her little mind starts filling up with her own party ideas.  She’ll enthusiastically ask her mom,”Can we have sailboat hot dogs for dinner tonight?”
She’ll wait somewhat patiently for her mom to answer.
When her mom agrees, she’ll go into full party mode.  Because who ever said you can’t have a party for just four people?!
She’ll drag her mom to the grocery store and Target for party supplies.  Then like a whirlwind, or a small force to be reckoned with, she’ll direct her older brother on “how to decorate paper cups” and “how to construct the perfect paper sail boat”.

When the sailboat hot dogs are ready to set sail……….
and the decorations are in place……
the party for four will begin with a prayer to thank the Lord for all their blessings, for their sailboat hot dogs, and for the giggly blue-eyed girl who planned the party.
And as the mom looks at her own sailboat hot dog……..
she’ll get a little misty-eyed as she realizes that it’s so much more than a paper sailboat.  It’s a symbol…….of how fast time is sailing by.  It’s a reminder………to enjoy these giggly dinner prayers because they won’t always be so giggly,………..that one day making paper party decorations with her brother won’t be the “most fun thing ever”,……..of how simple and easy it is to make the most basic dinner a little more special,……….of how we need to have parties for just the four of us more often……….and lastly it’s a reminder to put her enthusiastic minions to work making party decorations for their next big backyard party!
When everyone is done eating, the mom will load the dishwasher and start wiping down the kitchen counters.  She’ll see the Homes.com Entertainment Guide laying there and she’ll smile remembering that morning when this impromptu dinner party was planned.
You can download your own free copy of the Homes.com Entertainment Guide right here.  I wonder what will happen when you start flipping through the pages.
*This post was sponsored by Homes.com, but the story of how an innocent mom was forced to throw an impromptu dinner party is 100% true.
P.S.  Paper sailboats really do make hot dogs taste better – just sayin’.
