Holy Pinterestballs Batman!

Guess who’s co-hosting the next Pinterest Challenge?
Even, I still can’t believe it!

Seriously!  It’s cray-cray!
I love Pinterest!  So it goes without saying that any and every time Katie (Bower Power) and Sherry (Young House Love) host a Pinterest Challenge I’m always down to play along.
I mean I’ll be honest, anything that motivates me to start doing and stop pinning – aka getting my bootie off the couch – is a good thing in my book.  Thanks to their get-your-bootie-moving challenges I’ve painted my doors and window sashes in our family room black……….

created a giant chalkboard calendar to manage our daily chaos…….

wall sized chalkboard calendar

and played around with an outfit inspired tablescape.

It’s great to pin things, but it’s even better to do something with the pinspiration!  So, when they asked me to co-host along with Sarah (The Ugly Duckling House) I replied with a very enthusiastic YES!  Honest to goodness I’m still in shock they even asked me!  Sarah is beyond worthy – have you seen her amazing gilded map art?!  But me?  I’m way out of my league!  I mean I’m super excited to co-host with these amazing lizadies, but I’m also skeered.   What the heck am I gonna do?!  My “Let’s Do This (diy)” board  has no less than 80 pins, but these two are really calling my name right now.

I’m totally digging this bookcase turned dollhouse from the Land of Nod Blog.

And my scrapbook paper stash better hide ’cause I’m coming at it with a giant pair of scissors!  I’d love to create something similar to this collage art from Michelle at Ten June.

Obvisously, I have something kid inspired on the brain, so we’ll see how it goes.

You want to join in the fun too, don’t you?  I’ll answer for you – YES, yes you do!  It’s pretty simple really.  If you want to take the Pinterest Challenge all you have to do is:

1.  Choose one of your pins on Pinterest – anything goes – no matter how big or small the project.

2.  Use your pinspiration to create your own version and blog about it (make sure you not only link to the pin but also the original creator.)

3.  Then come back next Tuesday, October 30th, and share your pinspired project with us!  Feel free to use those snazzy Pinterest Challenge banners Katie made in your post too!

Sarah, Katie, Sherry and I will be showing off our projects that day too.  It’s going to be a fun partay that you won’t want to miss!

Oh and in case you’re wondering this is not a Pinterest sponsored challenge.  It’s just a fun little push-in-the-tush to get us all movitated to start tackling some things on our to-do lists.  I don’t know about you, but I need these kicks in the rear end sometimes!
