It’s time for another Soiree! This time it’s all about celebrating Lilly Pulitzer.
Lilly style is all about happy, preppy florals and fun patterns. Armed with color and pattern inspiration I decided to make my little girlfriend a hair accessory organizer. Leave it to the overly organized obsessed mom (thumbs pointing at this girl) to tackle organizing the new bathroom vanity before doing any of the more important diy projects in the kids bathroom. Crazy is as crazy does I guess, but I just couldn’t the handle throwing everything in the new cabinet without any organization.
Armed with a canvas panel board and some colorful clear hooks courtesy of the kind folks at Command Brand, (I guess they got the memo that I’m obsessed with their command strips so they thought they’d send me some other products to try.)
I made my girl a hair accessory organizer.
I used my new favorite method for making labels (which I promise to show you – I know I keep saying that – but I will reveal how I’ve been making all these fun labels when I get the green light to share) to cover the entire board with this fun pink and blue pattern. My favorite part are the elephant labels I added to the tin buckets (Target dollar spot purchase from years ago).
But seriously, how cute are those elephants?!
I was inspired by this Lilly print – not sure what it’s called?
I loved the colors and especially those cute pink elephants!
I hung the organizer using command strips on the back of the new bathroom cabinet door.
It’s perfect for corralling all of her small hair accessories in one easy to reach spot. Hanging the little buckets on this covered canvas panel keeps them from clanging against the door. My little girlfriend loves her new organizer, and I love that we no longer have loose rubber bands and hair clips all over the place.
So how did Lilly inspire you? Be sure to check out my lovely co-hosts Lilly inspired projects before you share your own!
