hAppy in NYC

New York City is such an amazing city!

I hadn’t been there since I was pregnant with my son, who is 9 years old now, so it had been quite a while. I really have to thank the Zink hAppy team for making this trip possible.

I tried not to act like a tourist, but it’s just so hard to keep yourself from snapping a selfie on the subway. 😉 And you don’t want to know how many times I quoted Elf’s famous line, “The yellow ones don’t stop!” Which is so true by the way!

Looks like a fun trip and congratulations for being picked to go! It's one of my favorite cities in the whole world and I'm leaving a week from tomorrow for NYC fashion week. It's still a little surreal for me. I'm counting the seconds!!!

What a great trip. I lived in NY until I was 10. Been back a couple times, but for some not so pleasant reasons (funerals). I would love to get back up there soon.

That is so funny – we also went to NYC when I was pregnant with my son, who is also nine! And then we went again when I was pregnant with my 5-year-old daughter. We joke that I only go to New York pregnant – and considering we are taking my mother for her 60th birthday, that makes me a little nervous! 😀

Looks like you had a wonderful time. It really is such an impressive city. Luckily we live about an hour away and get in there a couple times a year. It never gets old because there is always so much to experience! You girls look so happy and I love all the striped skirts!

Looks like a fun trip! NYC is a great place. My husband grew up in Manhattan and his parents still live there so we love to visit. It is fun going around the city with a local because he knows some hidden spots that are great. I do have the say one of my favorite things is to go to the Highline. Glad you had a blast.

Thanks everyone! I really want to go back again soon – and bring my hub and kids. The kids have never been and I think they'd love to visit!

My husband is from Queens and I am not even close so when we go back I am in awe and can't stop taking pictures. He always says "stop looking up, you look like a tourist," and I always reply…"but I am a tourist"- LOL 🙂
