rosemary almonds – thanksgiving neighbor gifts

I love giving little gifts of appreciation to our neighbors on Thanksgiving.  I came across this recipe for rosemary almonds and just knew they’d be the perfect throw-them-in-a-mason-jar kind of gift.
Rosemary Almonds

You can find the recipe here.  These almonds are so simple to make and are quite taste-y!  If you’re a big time rosemary fan, I’d recommend adding a bit more rosemary than the recipe calls for – it helps if you have rosemary in your garden, but if not just grab a bunch from the grocery.

They taste great warm from the oven, so if you’re looking for a quick Thanksgiving day appetizer definitely give these a try.  For gift packaging, wait ’til they’re cool then throw them in a jar.

The smooth mason jars are perfect for adding a cute personalized label.  Kidecals has such a fun selection of labels to make your gifts look like you went to a lot more trouble than you actually did.  It’s all about cute packaging right?!

These labels make gifting so easy!

So what’s your favorite throw-it-in-a-mason-jar gift idea?  I’m all about a mason jar gift – add in a cute label and I’m head over heels.  I know – it doesn’t take much to get me giddy.  #nerdatheart

Do you give gifts on Thanksgiving?  I like making a big deal of Thanksgiving  – especially since so many people seem to just skip right over it.  What can I say……I root for the underdog……..unless of course, we’re talking about Kentucky Basketball.  #dontbeahater
