My daughter got a Rainbow Loom for Christmas, and she’s been making bracelets like crazy ever since. It’s actually kind of an addicting little craft as the designs are endless and there are probably more than a million you tube video tutorials to guide you through the process. I’m a big fan of anything that encourages a child’s creativity.
Of course, I had to immediately run out and figure out how to help her get all of her rainbow looming supplies organized right away. I was originally planning to go the tackle box route, but I was easily deterred by the Target dollar spot.
Target had these little acrylic containers – 3 for one dolla!! I bought a bunch of them and helped my girl get her little rubber bands sorted. Then we busted out the ol’ hAppy and made pretty labels for them. You already know my motto is – “put a label on it”. But really, when you have a Zink hAppy it’s hard not to label everything in site!
Once the bands were sorted and the containers were labeled, I put them in these super cute floral storage containers (also from Target).
I busted out the Martha Stewart adhesive bookplates (Staples) and again got busy with my Zink hAppy to label. Here you can see evidence of my other motto “put a monogram on it”.
I’m kind of obsessed with this new line of floral patterned storage items at Target right now. The pattern and the colors are so pretty for a little lady’s room! These floral containers are sitting pretty on my little girlfriend’s desk. I’ll show you more of it tomorrow.
Do you have a Rainbow Loom’er in your house? Are in an organization mode right now? What is it about January that makes you want to organize every nook and cranny?!
Great idea. Love those floral boxes too.
