Blogkeeping

Hey friends and happy Monday!  I’ve got some fun things to share on the blog this week….but first a little bit of blogkeeping.  If you’ve ever ventured to check out any of the tabs on my site then you know things have been disorganized around here lately.  Back end blog maintenance is no fun, but it is necessary.  My goal is to make the time that you so graciously spend here at Our Fifth House enjoyable. And I know a big part of that means making the site easy to navigate.

Creating a dedicated page for source and DIY information for each space in our home has been on my blog to-do list for a while now.  Many of you have reached out for details on things you’ve seen either on instagram or here on the blog.  And while I always respond to each and every message, I thought creating a reference page where you can find that information much more easily would be helpful.

The “Shop My Style” Tab

Under the “shop my style” tab you’ll find furniture and accessory sources for each space featured.  You’ll also find a list of the DIY projects completed in each room.  All you have to do is click on the pictures or the project titles to be taken directly to the source information to either shop or get the step-by-step process for that particular DIY.  I do tend to use a lot of vintage accessories in my home, but I scoured the internet to find as many similar items as possible.

I hope you find this new page helpful!  So far I have our entry, dining & kitchen as well as our living room on the page.  And I plan to add more spaces very soon.
