Hello Friends!  Is it starting to feel like fall in your neck of the woods?  It’s still blazing hot here in South Carolina, but I’m feeling all the fall vibes regardless.  And today I’m excited to be participating in a Fall Home Tour with some of my favorite home decor bloggers!  This is quite the inspiring roster packed with so much fall home inspiration, and I feel honored to be included with such an amazing group of creatives!

Welcome to My Cozy Fall Home!

My fall home decor style can best be summed up as ~ simple and cozy.  I’m all about less is more, bringing the outdoors in, and layering in all the yummy textures of fall.

A couple of cotton branches, a well-placed plaid scarf and a white mum that is just getting ready to bloom ~ yes, please!

I love to entertain in the fall!  Nothing makes a home feel cozier than a house full of guests!  And my entertaining style is similar to my seasonal decorating style – I’m all about keeping it simple.

A cozy fall throw as a table cloth/runner?  Love!  Just give me all the fall textures!

Blush pink with burnt orange is definitely my favorite fall color combo.  It feels feminine but not too sweet.  What are your favorite fall colors?

fall flowers

You may have already noticed, but I don’t decorate with a lot of pumpkins.  Just a few here and there.  Less to put away when the season is over.  😉  If I ever write a decorating book it’ll be titled ~ The Lazy Decorator.  Wonder if anyone would buy it?  😉  Instead of lots of pumpkins I go with fresh fall florals, that look just as pretty when they’ve dried. (I’ve been known to spray my dried flowers black for a little halloween decor once October rolls around.  I like getting as much action as possible out of my seasonal decor.)

These wooden pumpkins are the best thing I purchased at Target last year.  Considering how much I shop there, that’s really saying something.  But seriously, how gorg are these?!

Fall is such a romantical season (I’m an Anne fan.  Can you tell?), blush pink roses and fall berries just feel right to me.

  • I love your vision of fall. I use some white glass, clear glass, and mercury glass pumpkins in the fall. For florals, I typically accent that with green roses and coffee berries. I may throw in some blush pink this year. Love that in your home. And, give me all the chunky textures. It’s hot here in Texas too so I’m not feeling all the fall vibes yet, but I’m ready for the cozy seasons!

  • Love all of your pretty reds, always such a fun color to see. Your table setting is what really caught my eye this time around. Love that you mixed the pink and oranges and that throw as a table covering is genius. Great tour.

  • Your dining room table looks beautiful. I do not care for the typical colors of fall – the warm colors. Even though I am in “Big Orange Country” (TN), I do not like orange. Our home is a neutral backdrop with shades of aquas and blues with wood, shades of brown leather, etc. I stick with those colors year round and incorporate them into holiday and seasonal decorating. I’m with you on less is more for seasonal changes. I have not added any fall changes yet. Still so warm here and I’m just not feeling it yet. Not looking forward to shorter days and more layers of clothes LOL. The years seem to go so fast anymore!! (I’m getting old I guess!)

  • My first visit here, and love, love, love the idea of blush with orange – 2 of my all time favorite colors, though never thought of using them together! Thanks for that… 🙂 I’ll be back!

  • Your house is gorgeous! Thank you so much for doing this with us – and I’m going to have to look into this samsung tv thing! LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about your beautiful home. ;}

  • So gorgeous, such a warm and inviting fall home. Your dining table really caught my eye, it’s all so pretty!! Thank you so much for welcoming us in and being a part of the tour with us all today. It’s fun to visit!

  • Love your home. A question.

What kind of camera are you using? All of your pictures have a golden tone. Is that intentional? I’m considering purchasing a “real” camera, instead of my cell phone camera, which is why I’m asking.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks so much for organizing this Ashley! This TV is awesome! There’s tons of art to choose from, and I like not having to look at a big black box up above my mantle. 😉

  • I use a Canon 6D. All of the pics for my fall house tour were taken in the evening when the warmest light of the day is shining in, so that’s why they have a golden cast to them.
