Summer slowed me down quite a bit, so I’m a month behind again. But chatting about favorite things is actually one of my favorite things to do – in life and here on the blog. 🙂 So let’s recap July & August!
Trader Joe’s Buffalo Style Chicken Dip
Y’all! Am I the last person on Earth to discover this?! Why did no one tell me how good this was? It’s great cold or hot, but I prefer it heated. If you haven’t already tried it, you’re welcome! It’ll be perfect for tailgate season.
Kosas Concealer + Eyebrow Pencil
Beautycounter held my favorite in both of these categories. But they had some issues with their concealer wand and decided to stop selling it until they fixed the problem; and while they were working on that, I stumbled across this Kosas concealer and fell in love. It’s super creamy and brightening, but the best part is that it doesn’t settle into fine lines. It’s great for under the eyes, and it comes in a wide range of shades!
Beautycounter’s brow pencil has been out of stock for months now, which led me to try this one from Kosas. I love that it doesn’t require a sharpener! And it’s a little hard to see in this photo, but instead of a typical round tip, it’s rectangular which somehow makes it a little easier to apply and acheive a really natural look. Plus, I always love a brow pencil that has a spoolie on the other end.
Pipette Relaxing Body Lotion
I steer clear of synthetic fragrance in my personal care products and in general prefer to use brands that are transparent about the ingredients they use to scent their products. And Pipette checks both of those boxes. This body lotion smells heavenly thanks to a 100% plant aroma. And I love that it doensn’t leave my skin feeling greasey. It’s lightweight but very moisturizing.
Pretty Little Liars – Orginial Sin
I was a fan of the original show, so this piqued my interest. It was different than the original, somewhat more horror than mystery in the first few episodes. But I really enjoyed it. I used it as my late summer cardio motivation and only let myself watch it when I was either on the bike or the treadmill. If you were into the original PLL or are a fan of Riverdale, you might want to add this one to your watch list.
Stackable Drawer Organizers
Organizing has become my-son-is-in-college-now therapy. 😉 I’m kind of serious. I’ve been organizing all the things lately, and I’ve ordered this set of drawer organizers a few times now.
I had a few already……
but this drawer was in desperate need of more. I love the way you can mix and match the sizes to suit what you need. And did I mention, they stack?! Gah, I love them!
