Holiday Gift Guides – 2022!

Now that I’ve wrapped up my One Room Challenge, I’m ready to turn my attention to all things holiday! I’m not skipping over Thanksgiving, but I do like to get my Christmas decor up early so I can enjoy it throughout the month of December. And with Black Friday sales already in full swing, I’m definitely ready to start doing my holiday shopping. I love giving gifts! And I had fun curating a few fun (fairly specific) gift guides to help you find that perfect something for the special people in your life!

For the Hostess

I believe every party hostess deserves a little something special, but these are all great neighbor gift ideas too!

hostess gift guide

1. Festive striped handtowels are an easy go-to hostess gift! Pair them with a holiday scented hand soap and/or lotion.

2. This cute reindeer stopper with a bottle of wine would make any hostess happy. This is also a great stocking stuffer idea!

3. I like to pick up a couple of holiday loaf pans to have on hand for last minute gifting. A coffee cake in a festive loaf pan wrapped in celephane always makes for such a nice presentation.

4. Some hot cocoa mix or a bag of holiday coffee and a couple of these gingerbread house mugs would make for a great teacher gift!

5. These monogrammed old fashioned glasses are so beautiful!

6. Who wouldn’t love this plaid throw blanket?

7. If you’re more of a pie person than a coffee cake person, these ruffled pie plates would be a great way to gift something home baked.

8. And if cookies are more your speed, how adorbale is this nutcracker platter?!

9. I don’t think you can go wrong with this set of beautiful spiral candlesticks. Tied with a bow along with these festive matches, any hostess would be thrilled.

For the Leopard Obsessed

Basically, this is my personal Christmas list. 😉 If you or someone you know is also obsessed with leopard print, you’re welcome.

leopard lover's gift guide

1. I actually have these leopard pajamas in the short sleeve and shorts version, and they are SO soft! I’ve washed them a million times and they just get softer and softer.

2. The price on this genuine calf hair crossbody bag is too good!

3. I consider myself somewhat of a turtleneck connoisseur, and these tisse turtlenecks are some of my favorites. They’re so soft and are great for layering or wearing alone.

4. You won’t believe the price on this 100% cashmere sweater!

5. These slippers are on crazy sale right now! And they come in a variety of colors and prints, but I’m partial to the leopard print.

6. I’d love to get these leopard shoelaces in my stocking!

7. Best needlepoint pillow I’ve ever seen!

8. Love these packing cubes! Great gift for anyone who loves to travel.

9. These boots are priced so good right now! And they come in two other color/pattern ways.

10. $15 leopard print scarf, yes please!

11. How to look forward to rainy days -> get this leopard print rain coat. 😉

For the Book Nerd

Reading friends, I’ve got you covered! And just about every item in this gift guide supports a small business on Etsy!

book lover's gift guide

1. This booktrovert sweatshirt would make any book lover happy. And it comes in lots of colors.

2. These soy wax candles don’t smoke and are made with natural ingredients! So many different ones to choose from, but the Midnight Library one caught my eye. It was one of my favorite reads of 2021.

3. This Narnia bookmark would make a great stocking stuffer, but this shop does offer lots of different ones.

4. My daughter would love this Little Women wallet. It’s her favorite book! But there are so many other great books to choose from, and you have to chek out the purses this Etsy seller makes! They’re incredible!

5. These book cover wine charms are such a fun gift idea for your book club friends, and they’re customizable!

6. My husband got me this reading light months ago, and I love it!

7. This is the perfect wrapping paper for your book-loving family and friends!

8. Another great stocking stuffer, these pencils are so fun!

9. These solid wood coasters are special and unique. You can choose from 23 classic book options.

10. These embroidered bookmarks have an heirloom quality to them.

For the Beauty Lover

This is basically a list of my favorite things. Only clean beauty here!

beauty lover's gift guide

1. This is at the top of my own Christmas list! I’ve been hearing such good things about this red light therapy wand, and I’m excited to try it! And this company is currently running a buy one get one free sale, so maybe I’ll get one for a friend and treat myself. 😉

2. I use my makeup headband every day! So much so that my daughter wants one in her stocking this year.

3. This $17.99 Honesty Beauty set includes a liquid eyeliner (the only liquid liner I actually like) & tinted lip balm. Makes for a great girlfriend gift or stocking stuffer!

4. I feel like I’ve raved about this retinol body lotion a ton this year, but that’s because it’s so awesome! Put it on your wish list or get it for a friend!

5. Two of my favorite skincare products packaged together and on sale!

6. My new favorite red lip comes with the prettiest, shiniest clear gloss and is up to 30% off right now!

7. This blow-dryer brush was on my favorite things list last year, and I still LOVE it! It’s blowout quality at home for my frizzy hair.

8. Olive & June has become my favorite toxic-free nail polish brand, and this little set would make a great gift or stocking stuffer!

9. I’ve raved about Honest Beauty’s mascara for years! And this fun set comes with their amazing mascara and a liquid eyeshadow.

10. Every color in this lip gloss vault is a winner! And your lip color-loving friend would love this, but you can also break this set up and use these mini glosses as stocking stuffers.

For Teen Girls

My girl already got her Christmas gift. I was one of the crazies that went to war for Taylor Swift tickets, and thankfully, mercifully, came away with two tickets. But every item on this list was approved by my 16 year old.

1. If you’ve got a Swiftie, this sweatshirt is the perfect gift!

2. And I’ll bet your Swiftie will also love these custom clocks made from Taylor Swift vinyls.

3. This monogrammed locket is so sweet!

4. My girl got her second hole piercing for her 16th birthday, and now she’s all about an earring stack. This set of huggie hoops is so cute.

5. Blazers is all she can talk about wanting lately.

6. This cute stuffed sloth is actually a heating pad that you warm up in the microwave. Perfect for sore muscles and cramps.

7. My girl is always stealing my beachwaver, so it would be nice to get her one of her own.

8. Lately she’s been talking about wanting perfume, but I’m leery of introducing any synthetic fragrances to her routine. So this discovery set from Henry Rose would be perfect! They’re EWG-verified clean fragrances and this way she can discover which scent she likes best. The cool thing about the discovery set is that it comes with a $20 off code to use towards your first full-size fragrance!

9. Flared-leg yoga pants are back!

10. Ugg slippers are definitely on the pricey side for slippers, but the one good thing about having older teens is that they might be done growing. So at least they’ll be something they’ll have for many years to come. That and the teens wear these as shoes at school.

11. IYKYK. If your teen loved The Summer I Turned Pretty Series, this shirt will definitely put a smile on their face.

For Teen Boys

Teenage boys can be the hardest to shop for, so I really do hope this guide is helpful!

1.Apparently printed Patagonias are all the rage. Or at least, that’s what my son has asked for this year.

2. My 18-year-old boy still loves Pokemon, so I thought this mini waffle maker would be perfect for him. Next year he’ll have a little kitchen to work in at college, and he actually loves to make waffles.

3. Somehow he’s always losing socks, so Christmas is always a good time to replenish. These socks would make a great stocking stuffer.

4. I might want to gift myself this beenie. I love the colors!

5. This duffle bag seems like the perfect size for coming home from college on breaks.

6. Lace-up boots are something he’s been talking about a lot lately.

7. I got him two pairs of these pajama pants last Christmas, and he literally lives in them. He says they are the softest most comfortable pj pants.

8. In a word, my son’s style is “comfy”. The boy lives in oversized sweatshirts, and I’ve noticed that most teen boys have a similar aesthetic. 😉 He says that these are the best hoodies you can buy. And right now they’re on sale for $22!

9. If you have a tween or a teen, you know jackets don’t happen in the winter. I feel like a mom who got tired of seeing her son freezing cold in the dead of winter wearing a t-shirt standing at the bus stop is who came up with the genius idea for a shacket. If your child is jacket averse, these sherpa-lined shirt jackets are awesome!

10. He owns khakis and jeans, but he lives in joggers. These are his favorite and most colors are on sale right now.

Happy gifting! I’ve already got one of my trees up, and this lighted pink house ornament has me ready to embrace the season! 🙂
