Christmas has come and gone, but I didn’t want this season to pass without inviting you in for a holiday home tour. This is always my favorite week of the year! The gifts are opened, the schedules slow down, and the house feels so lived in in the very best possible way!

The days after Christmas always feel slower and softer to me. They feel less hurried and a bit more quiet. So instead of talking you through this little tour, I’m going to let the pictures speak for themselves and share some Christmas decorating takeaways at the end of this post. Because this tour isn’t one that says “look what I did” but rather “let’s pause to remember how this felt”.

My Christmas decorating takeaways
- Starting early isn’t rushing the holiday; it’s giving yourself time to really enjoy the season.
- Warm light matters more than decor. The right lights really do the heavy lifting!
- A collected look will always outlast a theme. Ornaments, tchotchkes, and traditions gathered over time tell a more personal story than anything bought all at once.
- Not every room needs to be decorated. A few meaningful moments beats trying to do it all.
- Wrapping paper isn’t just for gifts; it’s great for holiday lampshade makeovers too!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! It’s been a great season! Until next year…

So beautiful and cozy but your library stole the show for me! What a gorgeous space. Enjoy the rest of your holiday.
