I haven’t been around the blog world much this week. I’ve been washing clothes, shopping, packing, and planning for our Spring Break trip. Blog world is being replaced by DISNEYWORLD! I am soooo excited!
Last summer we took the kids to Disneyworld for the first time, and they both loved every minute. In fact, they loved it so much that we pretty much started planning a return trip when we got home. We booked our trip months ago and made all of our reservations too! We even typed up a little excel spreadsheet of our trip itinerary because we’re totally nerdy like that 🙂
I’m really looking forward to doing this again.

Housekeeping folded our towels like the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, and my daughter went bananas! |
Why would we go back so soon after our last trip? Because there is nothing sweeter than this!
Because the look on her face when she met her favorite princess – Ariel, The Little Mermaid, was priceless! (waterworks!) Because they grow up so fast and I don’t want these magic-filled childhood days to pass us by.
Although I feel the need to say sorry to Ariel. As she’s been replaced by Rapunzel. Don’t be too upset Ariel; you’re still in the top five.
For me, these moments are so special. I grew up very close to Disneyland in California, so the house of mouse has a special place in my heart. I’ve loved the mouse and his girlfriend since birth, I think. In fact, my favorite design color scheme is black, white, and red 🙂 I also had a Mickey Mouse themed bathroom as a kid; don’t be jealous 😉
So, is anyone else distracted by Spring Break plans? Any trip planning or mountains of laundry being washed, dried, and folded into suitcases? I may need a vacation from my vacation when I get back 😉
Your kids will thank you for the rest of their lives. Some of my most precious childhood memories took place at Disney World. I don't have kids, but I can only imagine how amazing it must be to experience Disney through your children's eyes. Have a blast!
