to the next round!
I’m so excited! My project came in at #4 out of 12 which is so crazy because there were some seriously amazing projects in that challenge! I am so amazed at the talent and creativity out there! Congratulations to all the contestants! I’m just honored to be included in this competition let alone to be advancing on to the next round which is
the Upcycled challenge! Consider me shaking in my boots!
So, I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you that voted. I know you had no idea which project was mine and may not have even voted for mine, but I appreciate you taking the time to vote anyway! That’s what makes this competition so fun! Okay, so are you ready to find out which knockoff project was mine?
I did the headboard. If it weren’t for this challenge that door would still be collecting dust in my closet! I’ll share the full tutorial tomorrow. I really need to give my Crafting Star Beth a big virtual hug because she’s the one who recommended the side by side comparison, which was pretty much genius!
Thank you all so much for your support and encouragement! I heart you all!
So, ummm…….does anyone have any good ideas for an upcycle project? Is it sad that I had to google the word? I’m like Isla Fisher in the movie of (the awesome book) Confessions of a Shopaholic. Remember when she was working at that financial magazine and she googled the word “finance”? If you’ve never read those books or seen that movie, what is wrong with you?! 😉 Seriously, rent it, watch it, then thank me later!
I love love love your headboard! Congrats on your big 4th place!
