Awesomeness Alert: New Wreath Hanger

Run!  Don’t walk to Lowe’s if you love this wreath hanger as much as I do.

Wreath Hanger from Lowe's

I fell in love with it!  It had to come home.  It’s $10.97 and it comes in black, rust, white, and silver………….but who’s surprised I wanted it to be gold?  No one.  Nothing a little spray paint can’t fix.  I used my favorite gold spray paint.

DIY Door Bucket from a Trash Can & Gold Spray Painted Wreath Hanger

I love it!  (I know I already said that, but it’s really true.)  It’s lined with felt so it won’t damage my door.  It feels very festive without being holiday specific.  It works for Thanksgiving, Christmas and all throughout the winter.  (This is the same thought process I used in the store to convince myself I needed to buy it.)  And I think it looks way gorgeous in gold.

To finish off the new front door look I gathered up a bunch of branches from the yard and sprayed them gold too.  Nothing is safe.

Fall Front Door

I’m still loving my trash can turned door bucket, and I love it even more with my new wreath hanger.  I’m such a fan of little details.

Have you booted the jack-o-lanterns by your front door?

  • Thanks a lot! We are working on our bathroom and I told myself I would not buy anything for a while unless it was for the bathroom. I could use a wreath hanger in a bathroom, right? 😉

  • That is a wreath hanger I must have! Of course, I will have to have mine in gold as well. I love it Carmel! Your new profile photo is beautiful.

  • The flowers that you have in there are called Proteas and they come from South Africa where I live. They are part of a group of plants called fynbos (fine bush translation) and they grow in the wild as well as in gardens. Don't know if you knew any of that info, but just thought I would pop it in for you. Loads of hugs from Cape Town, your front door/entrance looks beautiful. xx

  • My grandma won this same hanger as a door prize at a charity bingo. She thought it was the most hideous thing she had ever seen… Needless to say I rescued it and it will be on my door for Christmas!
