Today we’re kicking off the Summer Style Soiree series with the Queen of Chic – Audrey Hepburn! If you remember, this soiree is all about pulling inspiration from the designated style icon to fuel your creativity. This month we’re celebrating all things Audrey.
Audrey Hepburn is an endless source of inspiration, but I’ve always found this quote to be the most inspiring.
Words are powerful, and Audrey used them well. I’ve always loved this quote, and I just couldn’t agree more! Happy girls really are the prettiest!
This was such a simple project. I grabbed a $5 black t-shirt from Target, white fabric paint and alphabet stencils, and whipped this up in about 20 minutes.
You want to be sure to put a piece of cardboard or use a magazine in between the top and bottom of the shirt to keep the paint from bleeding through to the back. I used a paint bottle writer to handwrite the word “prettiest”. Once the paint was dry, following the instructions on the back of the fabric paint bottle, I heat set the paint with an iron making this shirt machine washable.
Then my little girlfriend and I had fun playing dress up.
I just adore my happy girl! This was such a simple and fun way to give a basic T a little something extra.

So cute and love your little Audrey 😉
