Hey friends and happy Friday! Who else is pumped for the long weekend?! I’ve got red, white and blue on the brain today. It’s my all time favorite color combination!
Let’s kickstart this weekend with a little All–American Inspiration!
1. God Bless America………..and God Bless Memorial Day Sales! Can I get an AMEN?! Pottery Barn always has a great Memorial Day sale. I love everything about this set up pictured below, but I especially love the paisley print pillows.
They’re perfectly patriotic without being too patriotic……..does that make sense? And they’re on sale!
Pottery Barn’s outdoor pillows are the best. They are such great quality, and they clean up really well. Last summer I bought a couple of the classic stripe pillows, and they still look brand new. Pillows are such a great way to add some fun pattern and color to your outdoor spaces!
2. Speaking of Pottery Barn, I fell completely in love with these adorable ant place card holders.
I mean, but seriously, how cute are they?! They’re $22 for a set of 4, but I think these would be a pretty simple diy. So, a little knock-off project may be in the works. 😉 My summertime entertaining is pretty casual which is code for place cards are not required, but I think these little ants would be an absolutely adorable way to label things on a buffet or beverage bar!
3. I bought this romper in black, but I think I might need to get it in blue as well. The blue would be so perfect for any patriotic shindig! It is sooooo comfy, and I love that I can dress it up or keep it totally casual. It runs a little big, so I had to size down. I bought it in an extra small.
I also bought these linen shorts, and I will definitely be going back to get another pair. I bought the blue; but they come in mint and I’m pretty sure I need them in mint. 😉 They are literally the most comfy shorts I’ve ever worn.
4. Looking through old pictures of my sweet baby boy got me all teary eyed. He may be 10, but he’ll always be my baby boy. I know a lot of people think dressing a baby girl is the most fun, but I actually loved dressing my boy more. Baby boy clothes are the absolute sweetest, and there is nothing better than an all american look on teeny, tiny male body!!

I have a girlfriend that welcomed a baby boy into her life last week, and I think he needs a little red, white and blue gift package………he most definitely needs these chambray shoes!!!! Baby shoes were always my weakness…….I can’t even stand it, they’re so cute! And no mom, I. am. not. pregnant!
5. Nordstrom is running their half-yearly sale, and all I can think is……..can we pretend it’s Mother’s Day again? 😉
I’ll take both pairs, but if I have to choose………get me the striped ones!
