introducing elsa

Happy Tuesday y’all!  I’m struggling to get this week started after having a great little family getaway to  Nashville this past weekend.  My son played in a soccer tournament there, and we stayed at the Opryland Hotel.  But a really fun weekend aside, that’s not the only reason I’m a little behind this week.  Sunday night we welcomed this little cutie into the family!

I’d like to introduce you to Elsa!

She’s all of 2.6 pounds and pure love!

I mean, I. can’t. even. handle. the cuteness!!!!!!  She’s a miniature schnauzer and was born on August 1st.  She’s so tiny; she’s wearing one of my bracelets as a collar right now!

I’m obviously head over heels……….but really, have you ever seen better eyebrows?!

Every dog holds a very special place in your heart.  And this sweet girl has already got me wrapped.

Gandalf, our standard size schnauzer that is a year old, is not quite sure what to make of her just yet.  He’s been very gentle with her, and I think when she gets a little bit bigger the two of them will be great buddies.

One standard schnauzer + one mini schnauzer = one sweet bearded, bushy eyebrowed bundle of love!
The adventures of Gandalf and Elsa………I’m thinking they may need their own instagram account.  ðŸ˜‰

  • Oh my goodness, she is ADORABLE! My husband and I have wanted a miniature schnauzer for a long time and she is absolutely precious! How big will she get? We are looking for 10 pounds or less, so I am not sure if that qualifies for miniature or teacup.

  • Ohhhhh!!! She's precious!! Our mini is 12 years old, and his health is failing, and it's just heart wrenching. He looked just like little Elsa when he was a pup, and they're so durn cute!!!

  • She is the cutest thing ever! I love the eyebrows. Isn't Opryland amazing? And large. If you ever have the chance, definitely go at Christmas. It is quite the extravaganza. They are probably already starting to decorate!

  • Boy you can really see how tiny she is up against your other pup! We have a little yorki-poo, who is grown and weighs about 10 lbs. Be careful about a collar with one so little (if you use a leash), a harness is safer for their little necks. Pets are the greatest – truly part of our families.

  • What a doll! If any of you readers are looking for a mini schnauzer, there's a great rescue in Houston, Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston. They have adorable schnauzers of many colors, ages, and sizes, and I believe they can help arrange transport.

  • Congratulations on the new addition to your family! Elsa is absolutely adorable Carmel. She is just a little peanut next to Gandalf. I agree with you…they will be best buddies in no time!
