Good morning friends, and happy Saturday! I hope you all had a great week! Grab a cup and let’s chat!

I’m keeping this post pretty short and sweet today because we have family pictures scheduled for 9 am this morning. Don’t even ask me what I was thinking when I scheduled them for so early on a Saturday! Every year at the end of November I find myself wishing we had taken our family pictures during the summer time. When will I learn?

But we’re doing them here at our new home this year, and I’m excited to combine our Christmas card with our moving announcement. I’ll of course be sharing them here on the blog too! 🙂

Disney Plus for the Win!

In other news, my family is full on obsessed with The Mandalorian. You all. Seriously. I think Baby Yoda broke the internet this week! 🙂 Just, can you even?!

I know we’re not the only Star Wars obsessed family out there. Who else is here for this?!

It’s so nice to have a show we can watch as a family. There are so few good family shows these days. We’ve been making it quite the little event. Our ritual is…..

Then we pop this popcorn.

Then we settle in to watch. And y’all if you haven’t tried that popcorn, you’re missing out! The Parmesan and Rosemary gives me life. Not even kidding. It’s especially great with a sparkling Rose. Just saying. 😉

Frozen 2

Speaking of Disney, my daughter (age 13) and I went to see Frozen 2 Thursday night with a group of friends. We know every word of every song from the first movie because, who doesn’t?! 😉 It was such a fun movie night that brought back so many memories. My girl has grown so much since the first movie! Did you all know our daughter named our mini-schnauzer after Elsa the Snow Queen because she has white paws that make her look like she’s been running in the snow. It melts me.

The teenage years are so tough sometimes. It’s so nice to have these special mother-daughter moments with her.

The movie was good. Olaf was hilarious as usual. I liked the music. One song in particular was a favorite. But my heart is still with the first one.
