Last year after I switched all the kitchen cabinet hardware from oil-rubbed bronze to champagne bronze I knew I wanted to eventually replace our traditional style oil-rubbed bronze kitchen faucet with something a bit more modern looking in a champagne bronze finish. I just love the way the muted gold tones warm things up in here and complement the granite counter tops. So when the finish on the old faucet started to peel I took that as a signal to go ahead and bring in the faucet of my dreams.
I’ve got nothing but heart eyes for my new kitchen faucet (the Delta Trinsic 1 Handle Pull Down in Champagne Bronze).
I love the simple, sleek look, and I’m officially obsessed with this metal finish. Champagne bronze is just so pretty!
I feel like this new faucet has really changed the whole look of our kitchen. It’s amazing what one simple change can do in a space. This style and finish fits my personal style so much more, and I love how the modern lines look against the traditional cabinetry.
Replacing a kitchen faucet is a relatively simple and straightforward diy home project. And Delta faucets always come with a detailed, easy to follow, installation guide. *Little tip – read all the directions up front, not as you go. And check to make sure you have everything you need to install your new faucet before you disconnect and remove the old faucet.
I got a little over excited to see this new kitchen bling installed that I went ahead and installed her the other night when I had a little extra time after dinner. Unfortunately since it was already night time and night time photos rarely come out well I didn’t bother to take any photos of the process, but if you all would like me to share a play by play on how to replace a kitchen faucet just let me know in the comments section. I’d be happy to put together a picture tutorial next week if you all are interested! I promise it’s not as hard as it seems. If I can do it, anyone can!
