Random blog post title? Yes, I know. Ha! I’ve been wearing headbands quite a bit lately (because they’re just so easy!), and so many people on Instagram have asked me to share sources. But my headbands are ones I’ve had for a few months and are no longer available. So I rounded up a few new cute ones under $10 for anyone who wants to jump on the headband bandwagon with me!

The beauty of a headband is that it doesn’t really matter too much if your hair is dirty or clean or if it’s styled or not. They make you look pulled together, and bonus, they keep your hair out of your face. I prefer the knot-style headbands because I feel like they have more presence. Ha! Anyhow, headbands are my favorite quarantine fashion accessory. They look great with both leggings and pajamas…..and my weekly jean check. 😉
Let’s Chat About Easter
This will definitely go down as an Easter to remember in the history books. That’s for sure. I was initially kind of sad about not being able to actually go to church in our Sunday best as we usually do. But then I thought about that first Easter……..and my perspective changed. No matter how we celebrate our risen Savior, whether in spring dresses or cozy pajamas, the reason we celebrate remains the same.
And even though we’ll be cozy at home, I want to make the day feel special for my family. With teenagers, I won’t be planning any indoor egg hunts, and we will probably not be decorating eggs either. You know, at 13 and 15, they’re just way too cool for any of that. 😉
But you’re never too old for an Easer Basket!
This year I’m keeping it simple and stuffing their baskets with – Something Sweet, Something Cozy & Something To Do.
I ordered some Easter candy on my last grocery order via Shipt. And everything else I ordered on Amazon with prime shipping.

For Her (my 13-year-old):
- I think she’ll enjoy this pack of iron-on letters that she can use to decorate things she already has – like her tote bags and tee shirts.
- These cozy slippers are sweet, and they look so soft! Plus, her brother nicknamed her bunny when she was a baby, so bunnies are fitting for her year round.
- She already has fabric markers, so I thought she’d enjoy adding some fabric paint to her craft supply haul.
For Him (my 15-year-old):
- These socks were basically made for my son. 😉
- This book has such great reviews, and my son likes to read so I thought maybe he’d enjoy this.
- He’s living in joggers right now, and most of them look like high waters. Ha! So a new pair was in order.
I’m planning to keep our Easter dinner pretty simple this year. And I think after we watch our church service, we’ll spend the rest of the day having a movie marathon. It’s supposed to rain here.
How are you planning to celebrate Easter this year?
If your young man is about to start driving, we found the big yellow magnets alerting drivers to a student driver behind our wheel very helpful!?
