Today I’m thrilled to be participating in Jennifer and Jewel’s Christmas Home Tour! I look forward to the It’s a Colorful Life Holiday Tour every year. I mean, what’s better than a holiday house tour while drinking hot cocoa in your Christmas jammies from the comfort of your own cozy home?! If you’re popping over from Less than Perfect Life of Bliss , welcome to my Christmas front porch!

Building this front porch swing is the best thing I’ve done in 2020. And call me crazy, but as soon as it was hung back in July I knew I’d want to wrap the ropes in fresh garland and twinkle lights for Christmas!

Once the ropes were wrapped, I raided my pillow covers. And I couldn’t resist adding one of my favorite holiday movie quotes to this plain red canvas pillow. Love me some Home Alone!

It stays fairly warm over the Christmas season here in South Carolina, so I love bringing in poinsettias by the front door. But they’re easy to bring in if the the tempurature drops. I so love the vibrant red!

My favorite thing about decorating with fresh elements is not having to store them away when the season is over. But I’m not going to lie, I’m doubtful this garland will stay green ’til Christmas. Which is why I went with faux wreaths.

I love it most at night! We had planned to string lights across the entire top porch, but half our lights stopped working while we were putting them on the house. Is that not 2020 in a nutshell. Ha! I actually kind of like it though. It looks like the top porch is smiling. 😉

Of course, my favorite is the swing! It’s seriously so magical at night! I wish I could leave the lights on it all year long!

Thanks so much for checking out my Christmas front porch! I’ll be sharing some holiday snaps around the house next week! To continue with the holiday tour today, hop on over to Carla Bethany’s!
