Our backyard staircase has needed lighting since we moved in almost three years ago. Even though our screen porch and our downstairs patio area have plenty of lighting, the staircase has always been a bit of a danger zone at night. And I was actually just getting ready to call in an electrician to add stair lights when I stumbled across this two-pack of solar wall lights and decided to give them a go.
And I’m so glad I did because these solar lights are awesome! They look great, and I’m shocked at how well they work!

Plus, they were super easy to install too! Here’s a quick hanging tutorial. They come with anchors, but since I was hanging them on wood posts, I didn’t bother using them.

I bought two sets to add to the posts on our backyard staircase. So this easy outdoor project was done in less than 30 minutes for less than $35!

You all know I’m kind of a freak about light bulb temperatures, and these solar lights meet my standards. They give off a nice warm light that isn’t too harsh or too bright. I think they’re pretty perfect!

Next on my summer project list is backyard string lights! What projects are you hoping to tackle over the next few months?
