As I’ve been sprucing up our exterior spaces for the warmer months ahead, all this area on the right side of our front porch needed was a good cleaning and some fresh plants. But the left side of our porch really needed a makeover!
When I took down all of our Christmas decorations, I decided to leave the solar string lights on the porch swing. And I have zero regrets! I’m planning to let them live their best life all year long. I just love this little bit of sparkle.
But back to the left side of the porch……..
Before
I mean, yikes, right?! This outdoor set was at least 10 years old and was in desperate need of replacement. (Although I do have an idea in mind to reuse them…..more on that coming soon.)
After
After looking around for new chairs, I landed on this 3-piece set and could not be happier!
I love the little round table it comes with, but I wanted a bit more surface area when I’m out here with a book and a beverage. So I added this pretty garden stool to the mix, and I’m in love!
I love the way the diamond pattern of the chairs compliments the diamond pattern of the stool!
Would you believe this is all from Walmart?!
They have such a great selection of items for outdoor spaces, everything from solar string lights (that I put up in my backyard last summer) and lanterns to furniture. And the quality for the price is so good!
1. I love the cane detail of these outdoor lanterns!
2. These solar string lights are still going strong in my backyard.
3. Love me some black and white stripes, this set was the second contender for my front porch. But I was afraid the black metal would disappear too much in front of the black doors, so I got my stripe fix via pillows instead. (see number 8)
4. I have the sectional that goes with these chairs. Bought it for our backyard patio last year, and it still looks brand new!
5. I might pick up a couple more of these garden stools to use as side tables on our screen porch.
6. Love that this stool/side table doubles as secret storage.
7. Again, it’s that cane detail that gets me every time. This set is just gorgeous!
8. As I said, I had to get a black and white stripe in the mix, so I couldn’t resist this set of two!
9. This set was a breeze to put together, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality!
