My Halloween decorating mantra is to keep it simple and fun! So I tend to focus my efforts on just one or two spaces. And this year I spookified our front porch and entry foyer.

I’ve been using these same witch hats, spiders, and skeletons for years, but this year I added this lighted Halloween banner over the door. And it’s such a fun addition, especially at night!

Everything I used in our entry foyer also came from our old Halloween decor bin, except for these large felt jack-o’lanterns that are actually table chargers. They were bright orange, and I spray-painted them black.

They’re so fun going up the stairs!

Last but not least, I could NOT resist these framed skeleton silhouettes that I happened to find at Walmart for $8 each. I couldn’t find a link for them online, but they were in the Halloween decor section at the front of the store.
The frames had a silver finish that wasn’t quite my style, so I busted out some Rub ‘n Buff in Gold Leaf. I just love them so much because they flow so well with the decor in my entry foyer that you almost don’t even realize they’re Halloween decorations.

The porch swing is always my favorite spot out front to decorate for holidays. These terracotta jack-o’lanterns I found at a local garden shop last fall, but you can also get them here on Etsy. I love them!

Especially at night!
