We’re talking about design here peeps – get your minds straight 🙂 I think there may actually be something to this whole horseshoe myth. I’m not usually the girl who scores the awesome furniture deals at the goodwill. I’ve never found anything like say a gorgeous headboard ( I still kind of hate her for this 😉 ) in someone’s trash, although I have no problem dumpster diving if I did happen to see a trashy treasure worth picking. I’m the girl who does “o.k.” finding reasonably priced furniture that we can afford to purchase. However, the other day at Meijer my luck totally changed!

for $17.49 per stool! What’s that you say? You don’t believe me?!

Well, booyah – how do you like them apples or uh er barstools? 🙂 They were originally priced at $34.99 a piece and were on clearance. I scored the last two in “stainless” – which isn’t actually stainless but who’s gonna run the metal test when they come to visit? If it walks like a duck, and it looks like a duck – it’s all I’m sayin’! I love them! I’ve been making a few changes in the kitchen and these fit in perfectly. The old barstools are finding a new home either in the family room or the basement; I haven’t decided just yet. Anywho, seriously run out right now and grab yourself a horseshoe 🙂 It might help you get lucky too!
Hope you had a great weekend! I did a little spring cleaning (more on that later) and watched Bambi with the kids (that movie makes me cry!). Thumper is still my favorite character ever!
