Hey friends! I tagged along with the hubs who had a work conference, in Napa, to attend over the weekend. It was a glorious kid-free weekend with a little work and a lot of play! I enjoyed traveling with him, but I’m very glad to be back home with my kiddos. I hope you all had a great weekend too!
Today I want to share this seriously quick little potting trick that I do all the time in my home. It’s like faux potting really. There’s no dirt involved, and it takes like 2 seconds. I rarely keep my plants in the same container. I guess you could say I have container commitment issues. 😉 I’ve got a bunch of different vessels I like to use to pot my plants – bowls, pitchers, cups, etc. So instead of having to deal with dirt and drainage every time I want to re-pot my plants, I use this little trick.
I love these moss bags that come with a variety. You can find them at any craft store. All I do, as you can see, is to put the plant in the container it came in directly into my vessel of choice (I usually choose one that is slightly larger than my plant) and then I stuff the sides with moss.
It literally takes 2 seconds, and it’s a lot less of mess. It makes it so simple and easy to re-pot whenever the mood strikes.
This little guy is currently living on my mantel, but as I’m getting ready to fall-ify my mantel he’ll probably be getting a new outfit very soon. 😉
Do you have container commitment issues too?

Cute! Pebbles with succulents would be great, too!
