I’m a big fan of details in design. So doorbells totally matter to me.
(*Sidenote – How fun would that palm tree doorbell be on a beach house?!)
I replaced the doorbell on our current home (our sixth house) not long after move-in day. Selecting option 1 (pictured above), I decided to give it an “antique makeover” with some rub ‘n buff in gold leaf. And over three years later this is still one of my favorite house updates I’ve done around here.
Now I’m currently trying to decide on a doorbell for our seventh house. And I’m having trouble choosing a favorite.
Press or Pineapple Doorbell?
Option #1 – Press
This one is simple but charming. And I really dig it’s vintage style.
Option #2 – Pineapple
But this one has southern hospitality written all over it. And I imagine with gas lanterns on a light pink house it will really shine.
