So the painters aren’t quite done with our seventh house just yet. Most of the walls still need a second coat of paint, but I just couldn’t wait to give you a sneak peek of the office/ guest bedroom! I am obsessed with the way this room turned out. It’s even better than I dreamed!
Say Hello to Tradd Street Green!

Insert all the heart eye emojis. I mean if you’re not in to green you may not be feeling this situation. It’s a whooooole lotta green happening in here. But I am so in love with this color!!!!! And opting to have the doors, trim and walls all done in the same color makes this room feel so incredibly luxe and also so much larger too! With no visual breaks and a deep, rich color the walls appear taller and the room feels so much more spacious.
Tradd Street Green is from the Colors of Historic Charleston paint collection by Duron at Sherwin Williams. And actually all but one of the interior colors I selected for the house are from this palette (it’s my little design trick to choosing a whole house paint color scheme).

The trimwork and doors were done in semigloss, and the walls were done in a flat finish. So while it’s all the same color there is still some depth and dimension.
I did pull one little paint trick in here. I had the painters do the walls in between each picture frame in semigloss which tricks the eye and makes the molding look so much more substantial.
Here’s a look at the unpainted space to give you a better idea of how the paint color and that little trick totally transformed the room.

Grandeur Hardware in the House!
The icing on this delicious green cake of a room is the gorgeous hardware from Grandeur Hardware! Am I right?!

The details are always my favorite part of design. It’s the small things that really make a space sing. With tall ceilings and tall doors I knew I wanted a door knob with a backplate in this house. And with my design goal for this house being to give this new house an old soul I wanted something with a classic, timeless feel.
Enter the Fifth Avenue Plate with Bordeaux Crystal Knob from Grandeur Hardware!

I could not be more in love with these door knobs and hinges! It’s normal to be in love with door hinges right?! 😉 Gorgeous and timeless, the vintage brass finish adds so much warmth to the house. And against the green backdrop in this room this muted warm brass finish is especially yummy!

This gorgeous hardware was added to every door in the house, and it is hands down my favorite detail of our new house. This hardware totally made the doors in our new house shine!
While the inside of the doors in this room were painted Tradd Street Green, the backside of the doors were painted Charleston White to match the trim throughout the rest of the house. And the hardware looks amazing on every. single. door! These pictures hardly do this Grandeur Hardware justice.

I can’t wait to show you how amazing this door knob looks on our blue pantry door! We’re just a few more weeks away from finally moving in to our new home, and I can hardly wait! I can’t thank you all enough for coming along for the ride. This building project has been so much fun!
*Thank you to Grandeur Hardware for sponsoring this post. All thoughts, opinions and heart eye emojis are 1,000% genuine! I only work with and recommend brands I truly love.
This looks amazing!! I adore the color and it does look magnificent with those door knobs! The color reminds me ofGeorge Washington’s Dining Room at Mount Vernon!
