Hello friends and happy Tuesday! Today I’m joining a few of my favorite color-loving design blogging pals in a little Christmas Home Tour. If you just popped over from Jenna’s House (Rain on a Tin Roof), welcome! Isn’t Jenna’s home so fun?! I just love her bold style, and her Christmas decor is so chic and festive! If you’re just now joining this tour, you’re in for a fun holiday treat today. The full line-up of those participating is linked at the end of this post. So go refill your beverage of choice and get cozy! There’s nothing like a good holiday home tour from the comfort of your phone or laptop. š I’m sharing our bold blue library (my favorite room in our new house!), where the kids and I decided on a Charlie Brown inspired family tree!

This room isn’t totally “done” yet (we just moved in two months ago!), but I just couldn’t not do some Christmas decorating in here. And because this is the family hang out space (meet the ginormous tv that is my husband’s new baby š ), I wanted this tree to hold our special keepsake ornaments. And I just had to buy this cute little artificial tree (found at Target). Does it not totally give you major Charlie Brown Christmas vibes?! I just love it so much!

I kept the holiday decor to a minimum in the library. Just a few simple touches to make the space feel festive, and I mostly let my kids take the reigns in here. The Charlie Brown tree inspired a sort of retro style look. I love these old school Christmas lights!

My 13 and 15 year old decorated this little cutie of a tree all by themselves, and I couldn’t love it more. I love pulling out the holiday decor bins and uncovering the treasures and keepsakes that mean the most to us. And it’s more true now that my kiddos are older ~ the ornaments they made with their sweet little hands when they were tiny tots are the ones that I cherish the absolute most.

This little tree is filled with memories that my heart smile so big!

My husband made this ripped paper Santa when he was just a boy, and my mother-in-law gave it to me our first Christmas as a married couple. It’s one of my favorite things to display every year. Insert heart eye emojis. These are the decorations that mean the most!

Now that this space is feeling holiday cozy, I’m ready for some sugar cookies and a Christmas movie marathon!

As you can see I’ve got plenty of empty shelves in here, that I can’t wait to slowly fill with all the books! Which by the way, do you want to join my book club? We’d love for you to join us, and you can follow our bookclub on Instagram too!

Now that I’m done with all my Christmas decorating, I’m ready to curl up here with a good book.

I can’t wait to show you all the other side of this room when this space is finished!

But that’s all I’ve got for you today friends!

If you’re new to Our Fifth House (which is actually our seventh house – it’s a long story š ), feel free to stay awhile and check out our new kitchen, our entry foyer and our screen porch decked for the holidays ~ every space has it’s own holiday vibe! That’s my favorite thing about Christmas decor ~ you don’t have to choose one theme! š And be sure to come back on Thursday to check out our living room Christmas decor.
Now, head on over to Ariel’s house (PMQ for TWO)! Her colorful Chrismas home is soooooo good you all! You won’t want to miss it!
