Happy Monday friends! If you happened to catch my Instagram Stories over the weekend then you already know. We moved in to our seventh house this past Friday!
I’ve been steadily digging my way out of boxes all weekend, but I still don’t have much progress to share yet.
I did start setting up my garage workshop, and it has me so pumped to start working on projects again!
It’s going to be so nice to have a ceiling fan in here!
The other little detail that came together right before we moved in is this little outdoor shower area. I have no plans to have it enclosed or anything. It’s just there so we can rinse off before coming in the house on beach and pool days. But I’m really glad I had the plumbers run a hot water line out here!
Ever since I announced that we were going to build a house and move….again….so many people have asked why we would want to move out of our sixth house. I really loved that house! In fact, I pulled a lot of inspiration from that house’s floor plan when creating the layout for our new build.
But it was this backyard view at the new house that stole my heart.
We’re pretty sure this is the one y’all, our forever home. And it feels so good to feel settled even among the piles of boxes that still need to be unpacked!
Thank you all so much for coming along on this building journey with me! Your excitement has made this process even more fun! And now I can’t wait to start decorating! I have so many ideas and projects spinning around in my head! But first coffee……and more unpacking. 😉

Wow, that view is gorgeous! The only thing you can’t change is location, looks like you’ve hit the jackpot on your seventh house. Can’t wait to see you make this house your home. 🙂
