Hello friends! Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite things of 2020. I’m excited to be sharing them as part of a blog hop organized by Melissa from 320 Sycamore. If you’re popping over from Brooke Romney Writes, welcome!

2020 has been a wild, history-making year, and I’ve noticed that many of the things that have become my favorites this year have brought me comfort in some way.

1. This Leopard Print Weighted Blanket
First up is this leopard print weighted blanket that my husband got me for my birthday. I’m officially obsessed! I sleep with it every night. This blanket gives me all the cozy vibes, and I immediately feel a sense of calm come over me. Not. even. kidding. I’ve never slept more calmly. And who doesn’t need a feeling of calm and a good night of sleep in 2020?!
2. I Really Needed This Today by Hoda Kotb

One of my goals for the year was to get into a morning reading routine. And this daily reader that is both encouraging and inspiring has been perfect! In I Really Needed This Today, Hoda shares 365 sayings and quotes, as well as short stories about people and experiences in her life. It’s bite-sized daily reading and has been the perfect way to start my mornings this year. Some days are just a few sentences, and others are page-long stories.

3. A Few New Self-Care Finds

- It may be a while before I’m able to get much use out of this cosmetic case, but I’ll be looking forward to traveling in style in the future! Something to look forward to!
- So glad I finally found a makeup brush cleaner I really like! And by this same brand, I found a facial mask brush that works so well with my favorite charcoal face mask. 2020 has definitely made me a fan of at-home spa days!
- With manicures and pedicures happening at home, I’ve become a huge fan of Côte’s nail polish. As many of you know, I’m all in on clean beauty, so I love the fact that all of Côte’s polishes are free of the major toxins and allergens that are often associated with nail polish: formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, camphor, formaldehyde resin, TPHP, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, parabens, and gluten. And it’s super long-wearing and chip resistant!
- Beautycounter released a few new products this year, and the All Bright C Serum and new concealer formula are the best of them in my book! I’ve been raving about the C Serum on my Safer Beauty Instagram account pretty much all year because it has drastically improved my dark spots and has brightened my complexion. And y’all, this new concealer is so legit! It covers SO WELL! And doesn’t settle into fine lines. Insert praise hands!
- These Lumineux whitening strips have blown me away with how well they work, especially because they’re certified nontoxic and bleach-free. Turns out you don’t need harsh chemicals to whiten teeth. Thank goodness!
- Last but not least in the self-care department is Prose shampoo & conditioner. Prose uses natural ingredients to create customized hair care products based on your specific wants/needs. It’s salon pricing, but the products do last for a while as a little goes a long way. And my hair has never looked healthier!
4. Califia Farms Creamer & WildCrafter Coffee

I’ve finally found a dairy-free creamer I LOVE! All of the flavors Califia Farms has to offer are delish, but these three are my absolute favs! And they’re limited time for the holidays, so grab them at your local grocery store while you can!
Also, I’m still loving my coffee machine that was included in my 2019 favorites list!

I’ve never been much of a tea drinker. I try to like it, but I’ve never found a tea I’ve really loved. But I do enjoy drinking something hot before bed. And I’ve fallen head over heels in love with this decaf coffee from Wildcrafter. Which tastes like a richer tea. The flavor I love is called Spiritual Chill, and it’s infused with calming herbs of holy basil, chamomile and passionflower to help relieve daily stress & anxiety. I’ve nicknamed it Spiritual Gangster. 😉 It calms me and readies me for a good night of sleep! A cup of this and my weighted blanket, and I’m out like a light.
5. Segura Viudas Sparkling Rose
Last but not least of my 2020 favorites, is this sparkling rose by Segura Viudas that has actually been a favorite of mine for years. But I’ve especially appreciated it this year. 😉 And the under $9 price isn’t half bad either. It’s fairly easy to find, and World Market will offer ( I think a 10%) discount when you purchase a case.
I believe all rose should be sparkling. Flat rose is like lukewarm water. Nobody likes it. They just drink it when there’s nothing else to drink. 😉 Ha! Don’t hate me for being a truth-teller.
Anyhow, this sparkling rose isn’t too sweet; it’s perfect, in my opinion.
