March flew by! I hope we’ve seen the last of the pollen explosion that colors everything yellow here in South Carolina as I’m ready to bust out my power washer. Spring is most definitely in the air! And as much as I always welcome sandal weather, this spring feels a little bittersweet. My boy turns 18 in a few weeks and then a couple of weeks after he’ll graduate from high school, and……I can’t even think about it for too long without getting teary-eyed. Thankfully, we’ve been logging some really great family time lately which has been good for this momma’s heart.
1. If you haven’t already seen The Adam Project on Netflix, add it to your family movie night list. It’s a great feel-good movie with a heartfelt message. Teenager approved. And really, who doesn’t love Ryan Reynolds and Jennifer Garner?!
2. Speaking of Netflix, I also binged season 2 of Bridgerton. And I’m currently obsessed with the soundtrack! Anyone else?
It wasn’t all movies and music in March….

3. My friends at Revival sent me some of their new bath towels, and they’re not only beautiful, but they’re incredibly soft! And this cream color flows perfectly with the vintage Revival rug I have in my bathroom.

4. While we’re chatting about soft bath towels, I have to tell you about this retinol body lotion from Versed! I’ve been on the hunt for a body lotion with retinol for a while now. All of the great things that retinol does for the face it does for the body as well. But as per usual, I wanted something without synthetic fragrance. Which is still tough to find. So when I stumbled across this one from Versed during a Target shopping trip I was thrilled! Clean ingredients and just $17.99, yes, please! The bonus? Not only does it contain retinol, but it’s also formulated with squalane, cocoa butter, and vitamin E. Say hello to smooth, glowing summer skin! You’ll love it. Trust me.
*Like the retinol products you use on your face, this lotion should really only be used at night. And definitely always wear sunscreen during the day.

5. Last but most definitely not least of my March favorites are these spice labels from Paper & Pear. As you know my main home-related goal this year is to level up in the kitchen, and slowly but surely, I’m getting around to organizing every drawer and cabinet.

Our spice cabinet was in desperate need of a makeover. So I ordered this set of jars and was thrilled to use these gorgeous Paper & Pear modern spice labels. They make a variety of home organization labels and have generously created a discount code for Our Fifth House readers. Use code OURFIFTHHOUSE to save 15% off until April 30th!
