Christmas in all its wondrous glory can be a little stressful. I don’t know about you, but I feel like my to-do list is a mile long during this season. My goal is always to simplify, to spend more time enjoying and less time hurrying. With that in mind I thought I’d share 5 super easy and very simple Christmas ideas with you all today! Here’s to less hustled hurriedness and more holly-jolly-ness!
1. Magnolia Leaves for the Win
I love magnolia leaves year round but even more so around the holidays! A paint pen turns them into the sweetest place cards.
2. Calligraphy Hack
If you like to hand address your cards, I found a super easy calligraphy hack a couple of years ago that is so simple to do even your kids can do it!
3. Brown Paper Grocery Bags
The easiest, least expensive and environmentally safer way to wrap presents. You can’t beat free and this little tip will keep you from hoarding wrapping paper…….which is the main reason I started doing this. 😉
I like to use old scraps of fabric and these cute garland pipe cleaners (find them at your local craft store) to embellish my packages.
4. An Easy Update for Your Address Book
5. A Sweet and Simple Way to Save Your Cards
Without a doubt my favorite holiday tradition is the giving and receiving of cards. (I typically use Minted to create my Christmas cards.) I hope we as a society never stop doing this! I love love love checking the mailbox at this time of year. A few years ago I started using a binder ring (any office supply store will have them) to save all the cards from that year. So easy and we love to pull these out and flip through them every year! It’s always fun to look back and see how much the all the kids have grown!
I hope your holiday season is merry and bright with less stress and lots and lots of joy!
Love this post. TY for the great tips! Love anything that helps simplify (without sacrificing the “merry”) of the holidays!
