I’m on the hunt for a round coffee table.

Since moving the tulip table that was in our living room out to the screen porch, our living room has looked a little sparse. I’m not one to rush a furniture purchase, so I’ve spent quite a bit of time pondering, perusing my favorite consignment/thrift shops and pouring through my favorite design magazines. Just because I had a round table in here before didn’t mean I was married to the idea of a round table.  I wanted to take some time and really weigh all of my options.

But in the end, I really do think a round table will be best.  A round coffee table provides the most flow/circulation in the space.  Plus I really do love the way a round table breaks up all the hard angles.

So now that I’ve decided on a shape, it’s time to find a table!  I’m ready to bring in the missing puzzle piece.

Most of these are actually around the $300 range.  You won’t believe the price of number five, and it also comes in black.

There are so many good round coffee tables out there!  It’s hard to pick a favorite!  As you can tell my selections are all over the map ~ wood, white, texture, gold!  I’m having a hard time making up my mind.

Number two is the table I had in here before, that now lives out on my screen porch.  But it would be boring to have two of the exact same table in a home right?  Although, I do really love that table!  Is 11 different enough?  Or too similar?

Help me decide!  Do you have a favorite?

I like them because they’re simple and easy to style.  And in an open floor plan I like to keep my table accessories to a minimum.

  • Whatever I buy now will be something we’ll keep and use in the new house, so I’m definitely looking at how things will look now and later. That’s another reason why I’ve decided to go with a round shape. I know that will work in the next house as well.

  • If you haven’t decided yet, I love number #7 for the space. Right now I don’t have a coffee table due to a busy toddler (not enough room to run with the table in), but I like how simply taking it out or putting one back in completely changes the room.
