Valentine’s Day Tree

If keeping your Christmas tree up through February and decorating it with paper heart doilies is wrong, I don’t want to right. How is a Valentine’s Day Tree not a thing?

Even during the winter months, we spend a decent amount of time out on our screen porch because winters here in South Carolina are fairly mild. However, the sun does set earlier and the only thing that makes these early sunsets tolerate is the twinkle of lights. So I just absolutely could not part with this tree yet. I need a few more weeks of twinkly-light-nights out here.

I hung the doilies with paper clips. It was both simple and easy, and took less than 5 minutes. And I love the touch of sweetness those little paper hearts add to our screen porch.
