Holy wow, it’s already May 1st?! Wasn’t it the 45th day of January like yesterday? 😉 Time really starts to fly this time of year, doesn’t it? Here’s a collection of random things that caught my attention last month…..
Bean Body Coffee Scrub
Y’all. You need to get this! While aimlessly perusing the aisles of Target with an iced coffee in hand (as one does) I stumbled across this Bean Body Coffee Scrub, and I’ve beeb hooked and telling everyone I know about it ever since. Here’s why I love it: I love me a good body exfoliating scrub during bathing suit season, you know because smooth legs and all that jazz. I feel like using a scrub cuts down on how often I actually need to shave. Anyhow, most body scrubs, as I’m sure you probably already know, come in jars that have a little oil in them. And that oil can get very slippery. Let me tell you, last summer I had a near death experience in the shower one morning when I went to step into my shower and slipped because of the oily residue left behind from my body scrub.
So anyhow, long dramatic story short, I love that this body scrub is dry. It basically looks like dried up used coffee grounds. And it feels amazing on my skin and leaves me feeling super smooth and soft. With no slippery residue left behind. Insert literal praise hands.
Although it does require some extra rinsing because it’s pretty messy as you can imagine I’m sure. But I’ll take the mess over falling and not being able to get back up any day. 😉 This scrub paired with a coffee gift card would make for a great Mother’s Day gift for a friend.

Avengers Endgame
I can’t believe it’s over. It’s the end of an era. My family has loved this entire franchise. My babies grew up on these movies. And this last and final movie absolutely did these characters justice. We went to see it as a family on opening night. We stayed until after the credits finished rolling……waiting and hoping there would be just a little more. Are you all Marvel fans? I will forever and alway love Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.
Jeweled Interiors One Room Challenge Project
My girl Jewel is once again participating in the One Room Challenge, and it has been so fun following along with her progress week after week. There are only two weeks left in this design challenge but she’s already created an absolutely stunning space. I can’t wait to see the big reveal!
Also, in other fun Jewel related news, she and I will be teaching a class together at the Haven Conference this summer.
These Retro 70’s Style Sunglasses
Listen, you can’t buy happiness. But you can buy these sunglasses at Target. Pretty much the same thing. 😉 Ever since I finished reading Daisy Jones & The Six I have become mildly completely obsessed with 70s fashion. Give me all the 70’s styles! Just ordered a pair of flared jeans……and now I’m stalking the UPS truck. Do books that you love have this kind of effect on you? I’m hoping I’m not alone in this. Like for real, the last book I did on audible was set in England, so it was of course read by someone with an English accent. And I KID YOU NOT for at least a week after finishing the book my thoughts had an English accent. Oh my word! Why am I like this?! 😉
Recipe Engraved Cutting Board
This engraved bamboo cutting board has to be the sweetest thing I’ve seen in a really long time. There is just something so very special about the handwriting of a loved one. I plan to have one of these made as a wedding gift for my niece. And I can just imagine the tear-fest that will ensue at the bridal shower. 😉 God bless family weddings!
Ok y’all, lay it on me. What caught your attention last month?! New lipsticks? Great books? Netflix binges? I’m here for all it! Let’s chat down below.
I am SO getting that scrub! I love peppermint scent. And I love a body scrub, although not sure it helps with the shaving LOL. But I am all over one that isn’t oily. I always clean the tub after using scrub because it is SO oily!!!
Good picture of you. You always take pix in the car! Those glasses are as big as goggles! Not sure I can carry them off. I like black frames and I need to find me a new pair. Sounds like I need a trip to Target.
